Maureen Denise McCormick, the sole child from Richard McCormick Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills California on 5 August 1956. Her mother was at home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick began performing and singing in the early years of her life. She was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest when she was just 6 years old and was approached by Pat Domigan, a talent agent of the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to join the business of show production. McCormick found her first role as an actress major in the year 1964. McCormick was in an ad campaign for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. That same year, she was featured in a second commercial on television for Chatty Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was cast at La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of Wind It up and It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, who was selected from over 1500 auditioned children, was cast as the oldest of three double-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons and the show was a great success. McCormick disclosed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year run on the program. In 2008, she revealed in her book Heres the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, that during the fifth season of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. It was a time that would have not worked for us, she informed me.
